YAY, you had a baby!

Now to recover and recalibrate as a family…sometimes we put so much emphasis on planning and preparing for the birth that we don’t think about the postpartum time, however it’s just as important! The three months after the baby arrives is called the Fourth Trimester, it’s an adjustment for everyone, but there are specific things you can do to really thrive and enjoy this special time. My role as a Postpartum Doula is to provide that support.

My focus as a Postpartum Doula is to set up healthy rhythms of feeding and sleep, postpartum recovery, home organization, and bonding.

I have experience working with families with one child, multiple children, daytime care, overnight care, typical children, children with special needs, surrogacy, hospital birth, birth center birth, home birth, postpartum mood concerns, lactation concerns, postpartum recovery, and I am adult and infant CPR certified.

Postpartum support includes, but is not limited to, breast and/or bottle feeding support, meal prep and cooking, light housekeeping, home organization, setting up daytime feeds/sleep routines for restful nighttime sleep and all or some newborn care.

I provide postpartum support during the day and/or overnight and my focus is nourishment, rest, recovery, and bonding, the care is centered around your needs as a family. My goal as a doula is that you feel confident, prepared and empowered as you transition into parenthood, for the first time or yet again.
